Walk and Journal: a creative workshop on the coast path
With Jody of Cornish Ramblings and Hannah Bevan, author of Hometown Journals
Saturday 19 August, 10am-2:00pm
£18 per person
This lighthearted creative workshop is designed to help you see the coastline and experience walking in a new way. Led by Jody Woolcock of Cornish Ramblings and Hannah Bevan, the Falmouth-based founder and author of Hometown Journals, you’ll join a small group on a stunning 3-mile circular walk between St Agnes Head and Wheal Coates.
Along the way, we’ll stop to complete 4-5 guided creative journal prompts and activities. They’ll include a mix of writing, drawing, and mindfulness activities - but all will be designed to inspire gratitude, exploration, and fresh perspective. There will be the opportunity to share and discuss our journal entries afterward, to spread joy and spark new ideas!
What to expect:
● A easy to moderate 3-mile circular walk, starting at the St Agnes Head car park.
● 4 or 5 guided journal activities, including writing and drawing. You don’t have to be experienced at either of those things to take part. All abilities are welcome! Please bring your own notebook and pens/pencils.
● A short break halfway through for a slice of cake (included in the price!). Feel free to bring your own flasks of tea and coffee.
● A 20% discount code for Hometown Journals, should you wish to purchase one after the workshop.
