Cornish Ramblings has partnered up with Tatra Escapes to bring you an unforgettable opportunity to head to the Tatras Mountains in Slovakia (with Jody of Cornish Ramblings!) for a five day guided rambling holiday.

17-22 September 2025
Day 1 - AM arrival, wild swimming in the lake in Slovak Paradise National Park with mini hike. Check in and relax, look around Poprad, and meet your fellow rambling friends.
Day 2 - Green Lake Hike. One of the most beautiful lakes in Tatra Mountains range – cable car to the start of the hike and continue across the mountain range all the way to the Green Lake for a mountain hut lunch. Length 18km with an elevation of 800 meters. Evening - relaxation
Day 3 - Waterfall and mountain hut hike, easy to moderate with various waterfalls of varying sizes. 8km, elevation 390 meters. Late afternoon/evening optional hot springs waterpark and spa relaxation (not included in holiday but an optional extra.)
Day 4 - Zakopane Poland visit and thermal spa in Poland.
Day 5 – Slovak Paradise Hike with waterfalls, dramatic viewpoints, forests and gorges. Length up to 18km, elevation up to 400 meters.
Day 6 – breakfast, departure.

The bridge between you and Slovakia…
Founder, Alena grew up in Poprad, Slovakia. She began exploring the peaks with her folks at a very young age, breathing the mountain air, hiking around the national parks and mountain range. She soon realised Slovakia should be on the top of the tourist destinations in Europe and is very determined to prove this to all visitors!
The Tatra Mountains, known as the smallest alpine mountains in Europe, are situated in the north of the country, also shared with Poland.
